Club Ville will be seeking to confirm their place in the final of the St James Football Association's Guardian Group Division Two competition this afternoon when they take a 1-0 lead into the return leg of the semi-finals against Rose Mount at the UDC field, starting at 3:00 pm.

Club Ville won the first leg 1-0 two Saturdays ago, and the winner of this semi-final tie will meet the winner of the other semi-final between Cambridge United and Iberostar.

Both finalists will also earn promotion to the Division One competition next season, in addition to meeting in the championships decider.

In the first-leg game, Omar Shaw's powerful header just before half-time was the difference in an encounter that was played in wet and muddy conditions after a short but heavy shower just before kick-off.

Shaw, a brother to national senior team coach Theodore Whitmore, headed a corner past the Rose Mount goalkeeper in the 41st minute.
