HOLLAND, Trelawny - Herbert Morrison warmed up for the start of the defence of their ISSA Western Conference Under-16 and Under-19 titles by retaining both basketball titles on Friday at the Holland High School pre-season one day tournament played at the Martha Brae, Trelawny school.

Despite heavy afternoon showers that forced a more than two- hour delay in the tournament, the Montego Bay school dominated the event beating Holland High in both finals, 23-6 in the Under-16 final, and 17-5 in the Under-19 section.

Four schools participated in the event, which also saw William Knibb Memorial and Muschett High using the tournament to assist in their preparation for the start of the ISSA tournament, set to get underway next week.

Herbert Morrison's David Gordon, who scored eight of his team's 17 points in the final, was named MVP for the Under-19 section, while Flawless Tracers of Holland was the Under-16 MVP.
