LUCEA, Hanover — The fourth and final qualifier for next season's Western Confederation Super League will be decided on Sunday, when former champions Lucea FC and Mt Pelier DC, meet in the final of the Hanover Football Association Island Lux Beach Park / Negril and MP Ian Hayles Western Hanover/CDF Major League at Watson Taylor Park, set to start at 3:00 pm.

The teams qualified for the final following wins in last weekend's semi-finals at the same venue.

The winner of Sunday's encounter will join the winners of the other three western parishes in the Super League, which usually gets underway in December.

The other three qualifiers, all first timers are, Somerton FC of St James, Falmouth United of Trelawny and Delveland PYC of Westmoreland.

Last weekend, Lucea FC beat Johnson Town 5-2 in one semi-final, thanks to a double from Chovian Anderson, while another double, from Oliver Bright, gave Mt Pelier DC a 3-2 edge over title favourites Super Star YC.

Super Star YC were on course for a treble after winning the mid-season and knock-out titles earlier, and were favourites to add the Major League title.

On Saturday, Lucea FC outgunned Johnson Town as Anderson scored once in either half, while Odane Graham also got a double for the losers.

Anderson gave Lucea FC the lead in the 22nd minute, and Oshane Kerr doubled the lead in the 31st minute.

Graham pulled one back for Johnson Town in the 36th minute as Lucea FC led 2-1 at the half time break.

Orlando Bennett made it 3-1 in the 55th minute, and a minute later Anderson completed his brace as Lucea FC raced to a 4-1 lead.

Graham got his double, in the 66th minute, but a goal from Owayne Smith in the 77th minute, restored Lucea FC's three-goal margin.

On Sunday, Oliver Bright scored twice, the first and last goals of the game, to lead Mt Pelier DC to the final.

Mt Pelier took an early lead when Bright scored in the fifth minute, but Kimani Monroe levelled the scores in the 45th minute, just before the half-time break.

Shavoy Downie restored Mt Pelier DC's lead in the 52nd minute, but once again Super Star YC came back, through Linford Galloway in the 61st minute.

Bright had the last word, however, and scored the winner in the 67th minute.
