The highly popular MoBay Jerk Festival was attended by hundreds of patrons inside the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay with its sizzling jerk offerings and strong line-up of entertainment acts. The event was held on Emancipation Day, August 1.

The day's activities featured a Kiddie's Village, several food purveyors serving up tasty jerk dishes while comedian Christopher 'Johnny' Daley brought the on-stage entertainment and giveaways. This eventually led into the stage show segment, which featured top-flight artistes such as Ding Dong, Shenseea, Rygin King and Teejay.

Earlier in the evening, patrons were entertained by Mikki Ras and Khago, while the gospel segment featured Keesa Peart and Goddy Goddy.

Owen 'Blakka' Ellis served up a bellyful of laughs also.
