WAKEFIELD, Trelawny —Muschett High will today seek to create history as the first school from the parish of Trelawny to win an Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) football title when they take on Garvey Maceo High in the Rural Area Under-16 final at Manchester High in a game set to start at 3:15 pm.

The Trelawny-based school will have a psychological edge as they had beaten Garvey Maceo 2-0 in the quarter-final in Wakefield to top their group.

The two schools finished with identical statistics in the quarter-final — six points from two wins — scoring four goals and conceding two, but Muschett was named group winners on the head-to-head rule.

Muschett High qualified for the final after beating Bog Walk 2-1 at Juici Field on Monday with Christopher Brown scoring both goals.
