MARTHA BRAE, Trelawny — At least two more spots will be taken in the semi-finals of the Trelawny Football Association Major League in this weekend's final set of games in the quarter-finals, joining Coopers Pen FC who secured their spot last weekend with back-to-back wins.

Holland United and Duanvale FC will meet at William Knibb Memorial on Sunday in a Group 2 game that could decide their fates, while Jackson Town will host last-placed Duncans United.

Duanvale FC, who were held 3-3 by Jackson Town, lead with four points, one more than Holland United, with Jackson Town on one point and Duncans United yet to score.

Holland United and Jackson Town will meet in a rescheduled game on May 26.

Coopers Pen FC need only a draw against Rio Bueno FC on Saturday to win Group 1, while a draw would be good enough for Wait-A-Bit PYC to take the runners-up spot ahead of Kinloss FC.

Coopers Pen FC claimed the first spot in the semi-finals on Sunday after they beat Kinloss FC 2-1 in their quarter-final top of the tables Group 1 clash at Kinloss Sports Grounds.

Coopers Pen FC got off to a fast start, going up 2-0 by the 25th minute, then holding off Kinloss FC.

Shaunavan McKenzie scored his league-leading 10 goal in the 19th minute, to give Coopers Pen FC the lead, while Shannary Brown added a second in the 25th minute.

Chaddane Linton managed to pull one back for Kinloss FC in the 74th minute, but that was as close as they got.

Wait-A-Bit PYC rebounded from their loss to Coopers Pen FC the previous week with a big 5-2 beating of Rio Bueno FC at Ulster Spring, to put themselves back in the race for the semi-finals.

Wait-A-Bit PYC led 4-0 before Rio Bueno FC managed to cut the deficit with two goals, but could not prevent the lop-sided loss.

Kevin Campbell gave Wait-A-Bit PYC the lead in the 14th minute, Jasain Clarke added a second three minutes later, Philmore Virgo made it 3-0 in the 23rd minute, before Tarwayne Foster scored the fourth in the 41st minute.
