MONTEGO BAY, St James — Defending champions Wadadah FC are to meet Faulkland FC in Sunday's mid-season final of the Jamaica Footfall Federation Western Confederation Charley's JB Rum Super League, after beating Hopewell United 2-1 in their Zone Two game played at the UDC field on Tuesday.

Wadadah FC needed a draw to qualify for the mid-season final for the first time since the 2012-13 season when they got to the consolation final for a third straight year.

Goals from the league's top scorer Kemario James and Denyu Ricketts saw them to their fifth straight win as they were perfect throughout the second round, leading Zone Two with 24 points, four more than Falmouth United. Faulkland FC also, who hammered Lucea FC 5-1 at Jarrett Park, finished Zone One with 24 points, but had secured their spot in the previous round.

Barton had scored three goals for Granville United before making the switch to Faulkland FC last month, as they cruised to an easy win. Renaldo McLeish gave Faulkland FC the lead in the 20th minute before Barton doubled the lead in the 28th minute with his first, then added a second two minutes later.

Rasheed Brown made it 4-0 for Faulkland FC in the 35th minute before Barton completed his hat-trick early in the second half. Orlando Barrett scored a 68th minute consolation for Lucea FC.
