Honours  — Whyte won a silver medal in the 4x400m at the 2009 World Championships. She was a gold medallist in the Under-17 400m at the 2002 Carifta Games. She did not make it past the semi-finals at the World Championships in Daegu.

Olympic Dossier — Whyte won an Olympic bronze medal in the women’s 4x400m relay in Beijing 2008 and was seventh in the 400m final.
