Japan beats Spain 1-nil

JAPAN stunned reigning World Cup champions Spain in their Olympic men’s preliminary match-up, defeating them one goal to none.

Yuki Otsu was Japan’s goal scorer, finding the back of the net in the 34th minute.

In other matches, Honduras and Morocco tied on two goals while Mexico and Korea finished in a goalless draw.
