LACOVIA, St Elizabeth — Lacovia High School student and Los Perfectos Football Club player Terry-Ann Nembhard (stooping at back and inset) has had much to celebrate lately. First, she was part of the St Elizabeth All Star Girls which won the six-a-side female football league in the 21st Century competition. Then, and perhaps most importantly, the 18-year-old secured a football scholarship to attend Harcum College in Pennsylvania, USA.
A news release from Los Perfectos said the president of the club Tony James played a pivotal role in Nembhard's development and was instrumental in helping her attain the scholarship.
