WORK is progresing speedily on the renovation and improvement of the Belcarres Basic School in the Ritchies Division of North West Clarendon, following the launch of the project on Labour Day, May 23.

The school, which has a population of 20 pupils supervised by two teachers, was selected as one of the Labour Day projects for the area by Member of Parliament for the constituency and Minister of State in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing, Richard Azan. The MP said that he is pleased with the pace of the work, underlining the fact that it had "come a far way".
