THE St Ann Chamber of Commerce recently honoured some individuals and businesses for their sterling contribution to the development of the parish.

Rev Delroy Sittol, an educator for more than 44 years was presented with the Education Award for years of dedication to the parish.

Navin Menghraj, who has his own clothing line, received the Young Entrepreneur Award for his involvement in community development.

The businesses recognised were Evita's Italian Restaurant, which received the Tourism Award for 2014; Gem Palace, the Corporate Award; and Dolphin Cove, the inaugural President's Award for the duties it undertakes as a good corporate citizen in the parish.
