The Jamaica Manufacturers' and Exporters' Association (JMEA) hosted its annual awards gala last Saturday to applaud the achievements of its members locally and internationally by fêting patrons with a night of cocktails, fine-dining by way of a Jamaica Pegasus four-course dinner, and entertainment by Jamila Falak and DJ Audley.

The soirée was hosted by emcees Christopher Johnny Daley and Rochelle Cameron. The JMEA, which aims to promote the development of the manufacturing sector and increase its contribution to the socio-economic welfare of the country, advocated a “formal by local designer” dress code underscoring the “Buy Jamaican, Build Jamaica” initiative. Wednesday Social wraps coverage of last weekend's hot-topic event.
