LAST Thursday night, close to 30 guests gathered at the French Ambassador to Jamaica's residence on Hillcrest Avenue to celebrate the fifth iteration of Goût de France. The event, which is held across the globe, is a gourmet festival to celebrate French gastronomy. This year's focus was on socially and environmentally responsible cuisine.

This year's Goût de France was commemorated by upwards of 3,000 restaurants and 150 French embassies and consulates across the globe. Ambassador Denys Wibaux and his wife Angélique were honoured to host their first Jamaican Goût de France. Saturday Social brings highlights.
