Western Jamaica at Table Talk Food Awards

T he Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards unfolded on the lawns of Devon House in Kingston last Thursday and western Jamaica was well-represented with several establishments copping awards at the prestigious event.

The Awards celebrated 19 years of culinary excellence and saw Mystic Thai in Montego Bay copping the Best Ethnic Restaurant award and Sugar Mill, also in MoBay, walking away with the Norma Shirley Award for Restaurant of the Year, and the Award for Outstanding Service.

Several other eateries from the west were nominated in various categories.

Post-formalities, industry leaders Rainforest Seafoods, Sugar Mill Restaurant and Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) who partnered with Hard Rock Café served up delectable bites and signature cocktails.
