Hi Kee promotes No Ego

No Ego is the latest single from dancehall artiste Hi Kee. The artiste, who was hails from St Elizabeth, currently resides in Italy.

The song is produced by veteran sound-system selector Pink Panther for his 5 Star Camp Production label. It was released on February 8.

“I've been living and working in Europe since 2011. I have a very good following over there and I want to make a similar impact in Jamaica,” said Hi Kee.

There are plans to complete a video for the song before he returns to Italy.

“I love the response that the song has been getting and I want to increase its promotion by putting out a video before the end of this month,” he said.

Hi Kee launched his recording career in 2008 with the release of single titled Woman of Virtue on the Finland-based Maestro label.

The release of the single was followed by a promotional tour of Europe the following year, which included appearances in Finland, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic, and Switzerland.

His debut album Self Reliance was released in 2011. The album, which was produced by the UK-based True Sounds label, features songs including Babylon Yuh System Collapse featuring Brigadier Jerry and Luciano, Catch Up the Fire featuring Mikal Rose, and Stress Free.
