Apology and clarification
Friday, November 02, 2012
In yesterday’s Daily Observer under the headline, ‘ISSA rules that C’Down should pay for no-show’, it was incorrectly stated that Mr Lancelot Livingston was the manager of Camperdown High School Manning Cup team, and that he was facing disciplinary action for his role in the team failing to show for their ISSA/Digicel/Gatorade Manning Cup match against St George’s College on Saturday, October 27.
We are satisfied, based on the facts, that Mr Lancelot Livingston is not the team manager of Camperdown High School, and therefore could not be held accountable and be facing disciplinary action as a result of any role in the school’s no-show.
The Jamaica Observer, therefore, wishes to apologise to Mr Lancelot Livingston for any inconvenience that this error may have caused.
