Atkinson finishes fourth

ALIA Atkinson finished fourth in1: 06.93 in the women's 100 metre breaststroke finals. The race was won by Ruta Meilutyte of Lithuania in 1:05. 47.
Atkinson missed out on a podium finish beaten by Satomi Suzuki of Japan who swam 1:06.46, to place third.
Rebecca Soni of the United States finished second in 1:05.55.
Atkinson swam out of lane 8.
