Atkinson in swim-off for spot in breaststroke final

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Alia Atkinson finished in a tie for fourth place in her breaststroke semi final but is still in with a chance to make the final depending on a swim off.

The swim-off is scheduled at the Aquatics Centre, London, for 3:29pm Jamaica time.

Atkinson will start in lane five while Canada’s Tera Van Bielen will start in lane four.

Both swimmers clocked 1 minute 07.48 seconds in the semi final.
