MONTEGO BAY, St James — For the second year running, Black River High handed Munro College their first defeat of the ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup schoolboy football season after coming from behind to win 2-1 in Black River yesterday.
St James High were also upsetters, beating Cornwall College for the second year running at the Montego Bay Sports Complex to spoil the 11-time champions' Homecomings celebrations with a 1-0 win.
Eleven schools scored back-to-back wins in a full schedule of matches.
At Black River, the home team trailed at half-time, thanks to a goal from Shawnavon deSouza, who scored in his second straight game.
Kimani Johnson equalised for Black River before Garth Banton volleyed home the winner with a left-footer from 25 yards.

Spalding beat Holmwood Technical, 2-0, to assume the lead in Zone G on six points, while Lennon High were 2-0 winners over Thompson Town to take the lead in Zone H, both on six points.
Brown's Town made it two in a row in Zone I by beating Albert Town, 3-0, while Marcus Garvey rebounded from their opening defeat to beat Ocho Rios, 3-0, as Cedric Titus beat York Castle, 3-1.
Iona were 3-0 winners over Islington to take the lead in Zone J, while Dinthill Technical extended their streak with a 3-2 win over Charlemont in Zone K. Bog Walk beat McGrath 3-1.
