Bolt triumphs again!

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Olympic and World champion Usain Bolt looks up in surprise as our photographer snapped him admiring his Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association Golden Cleat Award yesterday after collecting it at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston. Bolt was presented with the trophy after being named Male athlete of the Year, while Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was named Female Athlete of the Year. Bolt's coach, Glen Mills was named the Coach of the Year.

Bolt, who was last year named the International Association of Athletics Federations top male athlete, became the first person to successfully defend the Olympic 100m and 200m titles at the London Olympics last August. He was also a member of Jamaica's 4x100m relay team which broke the world record it set at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
