MAY PEN, Clarendon — Tivoli Gardens goalkeeper Edsel Scott produced a brilliant last-minute save to deny Humble Lion full points in Thursday's rescheduled Red Stripe Premier League game at Effortville.

The veteran goalie went full-stretch to claw away Denzil Watson's goal-bound left-footed curler as the Clarendon side threatened to extend their winning streak to four matches.

Carlington Smith had earlier given the hosts a 23rd-minute lead from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the box by Tivoli defender Kasai Hinds.

Dane Kelly's toe-poked effort from the edge of the box restored parity just after the break to set up a frantic finale.

While both sides had more than enough chances to secure three points, Humble Lion will be the ones cursing their luck after ripping Tivoli apart for the last 15 minutes of the contest.

Defender Kirk Duckworth had the easiest chance to give Lenny Hyde's side their second home win in four days, but he failed to find the target from four yards, while second-half substitutes Gregory Morgan and Watson were expertly foiled by the inform 'Robbie' Scott.

The result means Humble Lion improved their points total to 13 in fifth place and while Hyde was disappointed that they failed to close out the game, he's pleased that they are at least creating the chances.

"That is one of the positives from (Thursday's) game," he said, "but we are not finishing and we are still turning over the ball too much".

For Tivoli, who are on 11 points, the draw snapped a run of two successive defeats and coach Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey was happy that his players held their nerves unlike Monday night when they conceded a last-minute decider at home to Portmore United.
