CALIFORNIA (AP) -- An Olympic gold medal won by Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Games has sold for a record US$1.4 million in an online auction.
SCP Auctions said Pittsburgh Penguins co-owner Ron Burkle paid US$1,466,574, the highest price for a piece of Olympic memorabilia. The online auction ended Sunday.

RAMBLE, Hanover — Cambridge High and Irwin High will meet in a rescheduled first-round ISSA/LIME daCosta Cup Zone B game at Knockalva Technical in Ramble, Hanover, this afternoon, starting at 3:30 pm.
The game, which will be the first ever between the teams in the daCosta Cup, was originally set for last Wednesday, but was rained out.
It will be the first game for Cambridge High, while Irwin were thrashed 5-1 by zone leaders Frome Technical in their first game on Saturday.
Irwin High are returning to the competition after a one-year break, while Cambridge finished with just two points in Zone B last season, drawing two of their eight games, scoring four goals and conceding 15.
Frome Technical lead Zone B after two wins, while former winners Rusea's High and Green Island are on one point each after their 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Six other schools have won their opening two games, including St James High in Zone A, Grange Hill in Zone D, St Elizabeth Technical and Munro College in Zone E, Clarendon College in Zone H, and Happy Grove in Zone L.
Thirty-four more games are scheduled for tomorrow with the Zone D game between Grange Hill and Godfrey Stewart getting top billing.
