THE rescheduled fixture between Camperdown High and St George's College will take the spotlight in today's round of matches in the 2013 ISSA/LIME Manning Cup football competition.
The teams were originally set to meet on Monday, but torrential rain wiped out the slate of matches for that afternoon.
The two Group D rivals lead the standings with 14 points each, but St George's, the title-holders, have an advantage based on a superior goal difference.
When the schools met last month, on the opening day of competition, former champions Camperdown led 2-1 before conceding a late equaliser.
In other rescheduled Group D matches today, third-placed Charlie Smith High (11 points) travel to Oberlin High (five), while Vauxhall High (five) host winless Donald Quarrie High.
Walker Cup Knockout holders Wolmer's Boys', out front in Group C with 16 points, will look to continue their dominance when they visit Papine High (five), Kingston Technical (four) welcome second-placed Denham Town High (13) to Deanery Road and third-placed St Catherine High (12) entertain cellar team Clan Carthy High (one).
The St Catherine-based Eltham High, in fourth place on four points, welcome the joint Group F leaders Kingston College (nine), while last-placed Penwood High (one) host third-placed Spanish Town High (seven). Surprise package Greater Portmore High, only trailing in second due to an inferior goal difference, will be idle.
All matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm.
At the end of the preliminary phase, the top two teams in each group automatically progress to the second round of the Manning Cup. The two best third-place schools will also advance.
However, only the seven group winners and the best second place team will qualify for a place in the Walker Cup.
