TWENTY-FIVE-YEAR-OLD Ricardo Cousins scored his third goal from five matches for FC Väsby United in a Swedish Division I football match at Vilundavallen in Upplands Väsby on Monday.
The lone scorer for Väsby United, Cousins netted in the 72nd minute in his team's 6-1 loss to league leaders Sirius, on top with 49 points and three matches to go for the end of the season.
Väsby are just above the relegation zone in 11th place with 24 points, ahead of Syrianska IF (21 points), Akropolis (14 points), and Enköping (8 points).
Sirius are three points ahead of second-placed Östersunds FK (46 points) with Forward third on 44 points, all after 23 matches.
A Portmore United player, Cousins joined up with Väsby in September to become the team's joint second-leading scorer.
Väsby's next two matches are against relegation zone teams Enköping and Syrianska on October 15 and October 22 respectively. They will end their fixtures on October 28 against IFK Luleå, currently just above Väsby in 10th place and on 28 points.
Cousins has eight caps for the Reggae Boyz, having last played on August 10, 2011 in Guangzhou against China, who won 1-0 with a header from Zhao in the ninth minute.
