MONTEGO BAY, St James — The details for Jamaica's pre-competition camp are still being worked out by Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), the organisation's boss Dr Warren Blake said yesterday.

But Blake confirmed the camp is still on and would be held in Moscow, the same city the 14th IAAF World Championships would be held between August 10-18, but he did not say where exactly it would be.

"The dates of the camp have not been fully worked out yet, we still have something to do," Blake said.

The JAAA head had told the Jamaica Observer recently that officials had travelled to the Russian capital to view the facilities first-hand and were to report to the JAAA executive.

Yesterday Blake said the plans were to have a short camp starting either August 2 or 3 before the team moves into the Athletes' Village August 8, two days before the start of the championships.
