The 10-furlong, Kenneth Mattis Trophy honouring the only man who has made it to the Hall of Fame as a jockey and a trainer, is the feature race on the midweek programme at Caymanas Park tomorrow.

Seven Overnight Allowance horses are entered to compete, with trainer Anthony Nunes holding the key to finding the winner.

The Supreme Racing Guide does the analysis of the seven starters in post-position order.

WARTIME: ( – War Marshall Time Crisis) — The longest race that Wartime has competed in her last 10 runs has been over eight and a half furlongs (1,700 metres), when she finished way behind Superluminal, Dontae and Dysfunctional. Wartime time has not shown much since then and it is very difficult predicting she'll have a winning chance, especially when it is taken into consideration that Dontae is in this field.

TARANTINO: (6.b.g – Film Director Seemelater) — Tarantino, from the same stable as Wartime, has not hit the board in quite a long while and doing so tomorrow will be extremely difficult for this bay gelding, not to mention coming out the winner.

FRANCIA'S PRIDE: (5.b.m – Seeking The GloryTiffin) — Has not shown in her racing career thus far a likeness to go long but was running on July 28 going seven and a half furlongs (1,500 metres). Tomorrow's two-turn race is a completely different matter, even with Francia's Pride racing with Lasix for the first time.

BRUCE WAYNE: (4.b.c – Nuclear WayneXpress Card) — Bruce Wayne has been doing pretty well in Overnight Allowance for a while now. He is very consistent and always seems to be finishing strong in all his races, thereby giving the impression that he might like it long. Bruce Wayne did try his luck over 10 furlongs (2,000 metres) on August 6 when he finished 47 lengths behind the winner Superluminal, Dontae and Dysfunctional, in that order. Of those three who beat Bruce Wayne on August 6, only Donate is in this race, making it quite a task for him to win. Bruce Wayne, while not seen as the winner here, has a good chance of making the quinella to give trainer Anthony Nunes a possible one-two in this trophy race.

SUPERTRONICS: ( – Seeking The GlorySuper Lass) — Supertronics did win over 10 furlongs before on May 12 of this year in Overnight company as well. Supertronics will probably try to influence the race from in front but will have to make every correct move in order to win. Has a fighting chance of hitting the board with the Tongue Tie being taken off by his trainer.

BIBLICAL LEGEND: (4.b.f – Storm CraftBiblical Fury) — Since competing in Overnight Allowance, Biblical Legend has been nothing more than consistent. Biblical Legend is expected to be running on in the straight, but her final rattle is not going to be enough in the end. Biblical Legend has a chance of making the top four in this trophy race.

DONTAE: (4.b.c - Fearless VisionEighteen Karat) — Has not passed the winning post in front since March 18 of this year. Dontae has been going quite well against much better horses than those lined up against him tomorrow. There is not doubt that Dontae is comfortable and at home over the distance, and it going to be very hard to deny his connections lifting this trophy. Simply put, he is better than his rivals.
