Hopeton Oswald (right), representative of the Daniel Sturridge Foundation, hands over the symbolic cheque to Bryan Guscott (left), Principal of the Greenwich Town Primary School, and teacher Nervalee Reid, at the school ground on Friday. The donation is said to be the first of many to the community generally, and the school, in particular, which was attended by members of Sturridge's family, as the England and Liverpool striker gives back to his roots. Sturridge was on the island recently fulfilling duties of his foundation, which included the annual Family Fun Day held at the Constant Spring Football Field on Saturday last. (PHOTO: SHERDON COWAN)
