Gatlin romps Rome 100m; Nesta Carter second

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Justin Gatlin continued his fine run in the 100 metres this season taking the Rome edition of the Diamond League circuit in 9.91 seconds.

Jamaica’s World Relay 100m gold medallist Nester Carter (10.02) and compatriot Kemar Bailey-Cole (10.26) finished second and eighth respectively.

Great Britain’s Adam Gemili was third in 10.07 seconds.

Gatlin leads the Diamond standing on eight points
