General Accident face ‘Broilers’ in Senior League
GR
Saturday, August 18, 2012
FORMER many-time champions General Accident Insurance and Jamaica Broilers will face each other in the 2012 Business House Netball association (BHNA) Senior ‘A’ League encounter this evening at the Leila Robinson Courts, starting at 6:30.
The two should have an exciting encounter as they have a number of good players in their line-ups in the one-hour of action-packed play.
However, the insurance aggregation have been given the edge, but Broilers will not be a pushover as they too will be gunning for victory.
Former national shooter Margaret Lawrence and present Jamaica senior captain Nadine Bryan are expected to score goals from passes received from their attacking centre court players.
Help in the attacking thrust should come from Samantha Mundle, along with Tamara Hylton and Peter-Gaye Thomas, while coach/player and captain Oberon Pitterson-Nattie and Sabrina Spence should intercept passes from reaching their opposing shooters inside the circle.
Meanwhile, Broilers’ main shooter should be national player Anna-Kay Griffiths, who should match opposing shooter Lawrence to get majority of her team’s goals.
Other players who should provide the scoring opportunities for the two shooters are Annette Jackson, Tracy Ann Robinson and Marie Berry, while Latoya Heywood and Emealla Cummings should stave off their opponents attacking passes to their shooting circle.
The other matches in the divisional leagues this afternoon are AAMM Coop Credit Union vs Norman Manley International Airport, WISYNCO ‘A’ vs Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica at 2:30; National Housing Trust ‘B’ vs Industrial Commercial Development, LIME Jamaica vs Bank of Jamaica, Guardian Life Insurance vs HEART Trust/NTA, Wray and Nephew vs Advantage General Insurance at 3:45;
South East Regional Health Authority vs Scotiabank ‘B’, Victoria Mustual Building Society vs Jamaica National Building Society, Sagicor Life Jamaica vs National Commercial Bank, Royal Bank of Canada vs Jamaica Public Service at 5:10; Sagicor Life Jamaica ‘B’ vs Stewart’s Automotive, Digicel Jamaica vs Jamaica Infrastructure Operators, Transport Authority of Jamaica vs National Housing Trust ‘A’ at 6:30.
