JAMAICA'S 2011 IAAF World Championships relay medallist Patricia Hall is expected to make her competitive return today in the 400m race at the final IAAF meet of the year, the World Challenge event in Rieti, Italy.
Hall, who was a member of the Jamaican 4x400m relay team that placed second in Deagu, South Korea last year and was a semi-finalist in the flat event at the IAAF World Indoors in Turkey in March, was injured in the final at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures and missed a place on the Olympic team.
She is one of six Jamaicans who will take part in the meet, three of which will run in the Women's 400m.
Christine Day, a semi-finalist in London will contest the event alongside 400m hurdles specialist Kaliese Spencer, the repeat IAAF Diamond winner.
Rushane McDonald will contest the Men's 400m.
Lerone Clarke is the only Jamaican in the Men's 100m which will see a strong field including St Kitts Kim Collins; the French trio of Christophe Lemaitre, Ronald Pognon and Jimmy Vicaut; Emmanuel Callendar of Trinidad; France's and Norway's Jaysuma Saidy Ndure.
Aleen Bailey will run in the Women's 100m against USA's Mikelle Barber, Bulgaria's Ivett Lalova and France's Myriam Soumaré.
