HANOVER Cricket Association will host Zone A opponents Westmoreland CA at the Elgin Town Community Centre when the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) two-day Senior Cup resumes with fourth round action today.

Hanover are in cellar position in the five-team zone, losing both their matches and being unable to garner much from the bonus points option. They have only four points, while unbeaten Westmoreland are in second place with 29 points.

Also in Zone A, third-placed Trelawny CA (21 points) host fourth-placed St James CA (14 points) at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

Zone A leaders St Elizabeth CA (50 points) will be inactive this round.

In Zone B, fourth-placed St Catherine CC (32 points) travel to Maxfield Park to face last-placed Kingston & St Andrew CA (17), while third-placed GC Foster (34) welcome leaders St Catherine CA (40) to the GC Foster College playing field.

Manchester CA, in second place with 35 points, face fifth-placed Clarendon CA (19) in the other Zone B match at the Manchester High field.

Zone C leaders St Mary CA, on 39 points, will visit the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus to battle the hosts, who are in fourth on 28 points.

An intriguing Zone C clash is expected at the Noranda Bauxite Sports Complex in Discovery Bay when third-placed St Ann CA (34 points) host second-placed Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), who have 35 points.

Also in Zone C, Police cricketers, who are fifth on 25 points, entertain lowly-placed Portland CA (six points) at the Elletson Road Complex.

Zone D's top team Melbourne CC (50 points) will meet fifth-placed Boys' Town (14) at the Melbourne Oval on Derrymore Road.

Also in Zone D, second-placed Kingston CC (45 points) will make the trip to Kensington Park to battle third-placed Kensington CC (34), while fourth-placed St Thomas CA (21) entertain last-placed Lucas CC (13) at the Goodyear Oval.

The top two teams in each zone at the end of the preliminary stage will advance to the quarter-finals.
