J’can Sinclair tops world Seido Karate tourney

JAMAICAN-BORN fifth degree black belt kyoshi Chris Sinclair claimed the Grand Championship at the 37th Annual World Seido Karate Tournament at the Jon Jay College in Manhattan, New York on Sunday.

Sinclair competed against Karatekas from the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand. It was his second consecutive year claiming the top prize. Head of Seido Karate Jamaica and Jamaica Observer columnist Jun Shihan Tony Robinson was a judge at the tournament.
