Ja nab first win in CT20 campaign

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC) — Jamaica defeated Windward Islands by 12 runs in the sixth game of the Caribbean Twenty20 at Queen's Park Oval here yesterday.

The game was reduced to 17 overs per side after rain delayed the start by an hour and 20 minutes.

Scores, Jamaica 116-6 off 17 overs (Danza Hyatt 44; Garey Mathurin 2-18); Windward Islands 104-9 off 17 overs (Andre Fletcher 26, Lyndon James 24; Tamar Lambert 3-10, Krishmar Santokie 3-24, David Bernard 2-25).
