THE Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA) has gifted the GC Foster College a net and antennas as a mark of gratitude to the sporting and learning institution.

"GC Foster has contributed immeasurably not only to the success of individual players but to the lifting of the profile of the sport in an immensely competitive environment," said volleyball head Major Warrenton Dixon.

"They make their facilities available to us at minimal cost and we really appreciate that," he added

Major Dixon handed over the equipment to GC Foster College principal Edward Shakes on Thursday at the JaVA Volleyball Centre, National Stadium.

The GC Foster College has made its facilities and training programmes available for national volleyball activities for several decades.

"In recent times, the Jamaica Volleyball Association has realised the need to reciprocate the support," stressed Major Dixon.
