Jamaica equals Beijing medal tally

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica, by placing third in the women’s 4x400 relay today, equalled the country’s memorable medal tally at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

The quality in Beijing, however, was a tad better where the country won six gold medals to the three won in London so far.
