The course will be held at the Hilton Rose Hall and Spa, Montego Bay from July 30 to August 4 this year.

The course for referee instructors focuses on the education of member association instructors in refereeing. Referees who are chosen to attend are responsible for the instruction and education of the top referees and assistant referees in their country.

The course for fitness instructors focuses on the education of member association instructors responsible for the fitness preparation of referees.

A total of 35 participants from the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago will attend. The USA, Canada and Peru have been included in this course for the first time.

The course will be guided by Fernando Tresaco, refereeing development senior manager, FIFA. Also playing a leading role will be Brian Hall, director of referee administration, CONCACAF. Overall co-ordinator will be Peter Prendergast, FIFA referee development officer.

The representatives from Jamaica will be Victor Stewart, Dave Meikle, Mark Sullivan, Rohan Thobourne and Gregory Daley.
