Kaliese takes Rome Diamond League 400mH

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Three-time IAAF Diamond League champion Kaliese Spencer a short while ago took the top spot in the 400m hurdles at the Diamond League meeting in Rome, Italy.

Spencer finished ahead of America’s Georganne Moline and Great Britain’s Eilidh Child  in a World leading time of 53.97. Her Jamaican compatriots Shevon Stoddart and Ristananna Tracey finished fifth and ninth respectively.

Spencer is now leading on 10 points in the race for the Diamond this season.
