DEFENDING champions National Water Commission, Couples Sans Souci and Sandals Grande Riviera are the early qualifiers for the quarter-final round of the Sandals St Ann/St Mary Business House Football League.
Several teams are also locked in a keen tussle for points, as the competition moves into high gear, while there have also been goals aplenty, with teams finding the back of the net with regularity.
The toughest battle looms in Zone C with Noranda Bauxite and Gran Bahai Principe on nine points, followed by Royal Decameron on six points with only two slots up for advancement.
In Zone B, defending champions NWC have qualified for the quarters, sitting pretty on seven points with two wins and a draw. The second spot is an open affair with Marksman and Riu Ocho Rios in second place on two points each after scoring two draws, while Police, although on one point, are still in the hunt.
In Zone A, Couples Sans Souci emerged on top with 10 points courtesy of three wins and one draw, with Sandals Grande Riviera second on nine points after three wins and a loss ,followed by the dangerous Golden Eye Villas on four, Beaches Ocho Rios on three and Sandals Royal Plantation pointless.
ZONE A: Beaches Ocho Rios, Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, Sandals Royal Plantation, Couples Sans Souci, Golden Eye Villas.
ZONE B: NWC, RIU Ocho Rios, Police, Marksman SC
ZONE C: Noranda Bauxite, Grande Bahia Principe, Club Caribbean, Fire Brigade, Royal DeCameron(Fun Caribbean).
