DISCOVERY BAY, Jamaica — Bellefield Boys’ and Kingston High School Girls’’ dominated the 17th staging of the North Central Track and Field meet, held at Noranda New Day Company field last Saturday.

A total of 27 teams, including clubs, preparatory and high schools, participated in the event.

Meet Director Duen Daley said that it was another successful staging of the event.

“The meet has been able to cater for schools mainly in the east and sections of central Jamaica, as they [schools] look forward to the meet as well despite the challenge of many other new meets coming on stream. Noranda New Day has been good to us and will be looking forward to continue their support, along with other stakeholders,” Daley said.
