Observer advance to semis in BH Domino

SURPRISE package Jamaica Observer has advanced to the semi-finals of the National Association of Domino Bodies 2012 Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum Business House League after beating Churches CCU last Friday in quarter-finals play.

The Observer, which won just twice in the preliminary phase to finish fourth in their zone, won the Division Two match against the other zone's winner Churches CCU 150-138 to book their place in today semi-finals against the University of the West Indies.

In other quarter-final results from Division Two, Courts Sports Club stopped Tropical Battery 160-154; Pepsi Cola Jamaica defeated National Housing Trust 160-127 and the University of the West Indies upset Caribbean Cement Company 150-141.

In Division One, Jamaica Gleaner blanked Social Development Commission 148-125; Jamaica Brandy edged Seprod Limited 117-111; National Baking Company overcame Kingston Wharves 136-122 and Jamaica Fire Brigade outscored Wray and Nephew 141-128.

All games were played at the NHT Car Park.

In today's semi-final action, Jamaica Gleaner Company oppose Jamaica Fire Brigade and Jamaica Brandy meet National Baking Company in Division One action, while Courts Sports Club will oppose Pepsi Cola Jamaica in the other Division Two semis.
