DRAX HALL, St Ann -  Highgate edged Cavalier one goal to nil from a Severo Murphy 23rd minute goal at Drax Hall Sunday afternoon but are still out of the Premier League.

Highgate took the lead when Carlos Barrett was fouled on the D and referee Kevin Morrison awarded the free kick. Murphy took one step forward and his right foot kick curled over the wall comprehensively beating Calavier custodian Gariece McPherson.
Both teams launched attacks but failed to convert as the half ended with Highgate leading one goal to nil.

In the second half it was much of the same ding dong battle with both teams launching a number of attacks but failing to change the score sheet.
Highgate however had the slight advantage over the boys from Mountain View Avenue in the number of attacks.

The St Mary team, although winning is relegated from next season’s Premier League competition as Sporting Central and Montego Bay drew 2-2.
