Sandals Business House enters exciting quarter-final round
Saturday, August 25, 2012
High-riding Couples Sans Souci, winners of Zone A, will today tackle the dangerous Noranda Bauxite (Zone C runners-up) in the opening match of the quarter-final round of the Sandals/St Ann/St Mary Business House Football League.
Couples and Noranda, along with defending champions National Water Commission, are drawn in the so-called group of death, while Gran Bahai Principle, Sandals Grande Riviera and Police will do battle in the other group.
Couples Sans Souci have been unbeaten so far in the league with three wins and a draw with Easton Anderson, along with Shavar Brown being in top form. Noranda, however, will be looking to upset the applecart.
Competition continues tomorrow with Gran Bahai Principle up against Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. While Gran Bahai will start favourites having topped their zone, Sandals Grande will not be giving up without a fight and top marksman, midfielder Bevin Grant, has been a revelation in the league so far.
On Tuesday, Noranda play National Water Commission, with the defending champions eager to join the action and confident of defending their title.
