Tuesday, August 07, 2012 | 2:44 PM

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Double Olympic 100m-champion Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce was a close second to American Sanya Richards Ross in the 200m semi final.

Richards-Ross ran 22.30 to nip Fraser-Pryce (22.34) on the line. Both are through to the final at 3:00pm tomorrow.

Richards said she has been enjoying the Olympic Games and is feeling no pressure.

"I am happy and having a good time. I already have a gold medal so I am out here having fun and hope to get a medal. It has been my dream to be announced as Olympic champion."

"I wanted top four so as not to get a bad lane (for the final). I'm not trying to send any messages, my coach (Clyde HART) told me to be patient. I am happy I got the win - I feel pretty good. I've been physically and mentally preparing for this. I feel no pressure, it's a lot of fun for me."

She told reporters that she is confident and plans to give it her all in the finals tomorrow.

"I really want to grab a medal tomorrow but, either way, I'm still an Olympic champion. I know I'm the strongest in the field, so I'm going to give it all I've got in the home stretch."

Russia’s Aleksandra Fedoriva was third in 22.65.
