SCOTIABANK 'A' went on a spree with a crushing 70-15 win over defending champions GraceKennedy in their Senior 'A' League encounter as the 2012 Business House Netball Association (BHNA) Divisional Leagues continued at the Leila Robinson Courts on Tuesday evening.
The win was the bankers' second from two games, while it was the first lost from as many games for Grace Kennedy.
Scotiabank were led on the goal rampage by goal-shooter Marsha Murphy, who netted 60 goals from 70 attempts, while goal-attack Nadine Bryan scored 10 goals from 12 efforts.
Meanwhile, in Senior 'B' League matches played also on the same day, National Housing Trust 'A' got the better of Digicel Jamaica in a close 45-42 finish. Crystal Grant with 27 from 37 attempts and Jodi-Ann Ffrench-Kentish 18 from 26 scored the goals for the winners, while Chantalle McLaren got 39 goals from 47 for the losers.
In another close encounter, Jamaica Public Service clipped Scotiabank 'B' 42-41. For the winners, Michelle Morris scored 40 goals from 59, while for the losers' Tanisha Hibbert netted 34 from 43.
Jamaica Infrastructure Operators defeated RBC Royal Bank 46-37, with Shelley-Ann Williams scoring 31 goals from 47 attempts and Andrea Williams with 15 from 22 tries, while for the bankers, Karen Kidd got 26 from 36 and Trudy Ann Dawson with 11 from 21.
Shawnett Kerr with 33 goals from 54 attempts led South East Regional Health Authority to a 39-27 win over National Commercial Bank for whom Patricia Reid scored 21 from 42 tries.
Meanwhile, in Intermediate 'A' League action, Jamaica National Building Society got the better of Guardian Life Insurance 25-23, while in Intermediate 'B' League Jamaica Money Market Brokers beat Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica 30-17.
Aeronautical Communications gained a walk-over against AAMM Credit Union who failed to report for their Junior League encounter.
The Divisional Leagues continue this afternoon with WISYNCO 'B' vs Norman Manley International Airport; AAMM Credit Union vs Altamont Court Hotel; Cari-Med vs Pan Caribbean Bank, starting at 5:00.
Also, Scotiabank 'B' will tackle Digicel Jamaica; Stewart's Automotive face Sagicor Life Jamaica and LIME Jamaica take on Industrial Commercial Development, beginning at 7:00.
