Nicole Thompson of Glengoffe High School in St Catherine on her way to clearing the bar at a record height of 1.65 metres in the Class One high jump final on the first day of the two-day Eastern Secondary Schools Sports Association (ESSSA)/Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Track and Field Championships at the National Stadium yesterday. Thompson broke the previous record of 1/61 metres set in 2007.
