STAFANIE Taylor's DW People's Choice of Westmoreland kept up their perfect run in the Hotel Four Seasons Women's Twenty20 cricket tournament with a six-wicket win over Zone B rivals St Elizabeth on Saturday.

Taylor, the outstanding West Indies all-rounder, claimed 2-20 to restrict St Elizabeth to 120-8 off 20 overs. Chadean Nation made 30 for St Elizabeth.

In reply, DW People's cruised to 123-4 inside 18 overs as Sherene Burnett led with 17 not out and Taylor added 15.

Scores: St Elizabeth 120-8 (20 overs); DW People's Choice 123-4 (17.3 overs)

DW People's moved to 12 points with the victory, but St Elizabeth (six points) stayed second in the Zone after rebounding to hammer winless Westmoreland by 144 runs yesterday.

Rosheda Banton top-scored with 30 in St Elizabeth's 172, while Nation took 3-12 to help dismiss Westmoreland for 28.

Scores: St Elizabeth 172 (20 overs); Westmoreland 28 (10.4 overs)

Meanwhile, in a Zone A match played on Saturday, St Ann (six points) defeated neighbours St Mary (0 points) by four wickets despite 59 from Carla Cohen.

Scores: St Mary 106 (18.5 overs); St Ann 107-6 (17.2 overs).
