TWO former champions will look to rebound from respective Group D losses in their last outing when Tivoli Gardens High welcome Calabar High to the Edward Seaga Sports Complex in ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel Manning Cup action today.
On Friday, Tivoli Gardens, who last took the Manning Cup title in 1999, succumbed to a 0-3 defeat to hosts Bridgeport High, while 2005 winners Calabar were clipped 0-1 at Innswood High.
The Red Hills Road-located Calabar unit, has suffered from inconsistent form so far this season and sit in third place on five points in the six-team group with a record of one win, two draws and a loss.
Tivoli Gardens lie fourth with four points from as many games.
In the other Group D match scheduled today, second-place Innswood (seven points) host struggling Haile Selassie High (two points) at their Old Harbour Road base.
Leaders Bridgeport (10 points) will travel to face St Mary's College (three points) tomorrow.
In Group A, former winners Excelsior High will look to rebound from the stunning 0-1 reverse to Greater Portmore High when they host Penwood High, while 2002 champions Norman Manley High visit Campion College.
In the two Group F matches slated for today, St Andrew College host Donald Quarrie High at the Bell Chung Oval and Kingston Technical welcome Oberlin High.
Kingston College are scheduled to entertain Ardenne High at North Street, while cellar team Meadowbrook High welcome Pembroke Hall High in a pair of Group G matches.
All matches are set to start at 3:30 pm.
