Top Runna - Jamaica's first online Olympic game

KINGSTON Jamaica — PlayJamaica.com has launched the first Jamaican Olympic online game called Top Runna on Sunday, July 1.

Ryan Moore, Chief Exectutive Officer (CEO) of PlayJamaica.com, created Top Runna to allow fans worldwide to interact and support the Jamaican Olympic team.

"Top Runna was a complete team effort from its beginning to the end, many tireless nights tweaking the ideas just right to working out the kinks with a gaming developer out of the UK, has led to the amazing game online today," he said.

Top Runna features virtual Jamaican sprinters competing for the fastest time.

The game which is said to be simple enough for all ages to enjoy featured athletes such as "Lightening B.", "Afaasta P." and "Sally-Ann F."

Moore said with easy tapping of the left and right arrow keys, players can run their way to victory and for that extra burst of energy; players can purchase boosts to increase times. The players’ achievements and progress are highlighted through Facebook, making the game social as well.

PlayJamaica.com also offers gamers worldwide more than just self-gratification but also a chance to win exclusive Jamaican prizes when playing.
