VISITORS Waterhouse snapped resurgent Cavalier's six-game unbeaten streak after goals from Andre Clennon and Gary McIntosh handed them a 2-0 win in their Red Stripe Premier League encounter at Stadium East yesterday.
Clennon pushed the yellow-and-blue-clad vistors into the lead in the 61st minute with a header from 20 yards out.
McIntosh, who only moments before picked up a yellow card from referee Kevin Thomas, seemed to use his caution as a reason to run free, sprinting halfway up the field in the 73rd minute and past the Cavalier defence to boot the ball with such force that left the goalkeeper clueless.
The first half had remained relatively quiet as both sides missed chances to go ahead. A few minutes into the second half, Waterhouse's Hughan Gray came closest with a corner taken in the 55th minute, but Gray managed to push the ball at an angle and it found itself stuck on the outside left of the goal.
Cavalier made a few desperate attempts in the dying moments to get back but it was all too late.
Waterhouse moved to 23 points in midpack, while Cavalier stayed on 22 points, but sure to slip down the tables.
